10.15am: Registration and Coffee

11.00am:Welcome

11.05am: Introduction

    • Catherine Bingham, Chairperson, Carers Scotland

11.10am: Michael Matheson, MSP, Minister for Public Health, Scottish Government

11.40am: Helena Herklots, Chief Executive, Carers UK

12.10pm: Donna Henderson, Joint Improvement Team/Scottish Centre for Telehealth and Telecare

12.40pm: Welfare Reform in Scotland

There will then be an opportunity to ask questions to speakers after their presentations and before lunch to raise additional questions and discuss the issues raised.

1.30pm – 3pm Lunch & Networking

We will also announce the outcome of elections to the Scotland Committee of Carers Scotland.

Places at the Carers Summit are free and available to carers and organisation representatives.  If a fellow carer or colleague wishes to attend, please also provide their full details on the registration form.  In the event we are oversubscribed for the event, carers will have priority.  Click here to register for your free delegate place.  Please register by 15 October 2012 to avoid disappointment
